Payments architect · Gloucestershire, Bristol & South Wales
Taking a £12,000 deposit shouldn’t be the hard part of the job.
M.BRK designs and looks after the payment setup for businesses that sell high-value work away from a till. Built around how you sell, set up in person, and supported by one person who picks up the phone.
Trusted by 140+ businesses. You deal with Simon, start to finish.
Who it’s for
Built for businesses that sell big, and rarely at a counter.
Windows, flooring, garden offices, renewables, timber, bullion, travel. The sale happens in a showroom, on a driveway, online or over the phone, and the money arrives in stages. Most payment setups were never designed for that.
- Flooring
- Windows, doors & conservatories
- Garden offices & pods
- Renewables
- Timber & aggregates
- Bullion & jewellery
- Travel & holidays

A remote sale, mapped
From phone call to paid order, with no card details read aloud.
-
01
The call
Your customer rings to go ahead. Nobody needs to be standing at a till.
-
02
The link
Your office sends a secure payment link by WhatsApp, text or email while they are still on the phone.
-
03
The payment
They pay on their own phone, by card, Apple Pay or bank transfer. Nothing is read out or written down.
-
04
The confirmation
You are told the moment it is paid, and your customer gets a receipt.
-
05
The order
The order is confirmed and the job moves on, with the deposit already in place.

The problem
An off-the-shelf card machine was not made for a five-figure order.
When payments are an afterthought, the awkward moments land on your team and your customer.
- The deposit stalls. The customer says yes at the survey and there is no simple way to take payment there and then.
- Large payments get queried. A card is declined or a payment is held, at exactly the moment you want things to feel effortless.
- Balances are chased. Card details are read out over the phone and nobody is quite sure which jobs are settled.
- Support is a call centre. When something goes wrong, you start from the beginning with someone who has never heard of you.
How I work
Designed once, properly. Then looked after.
- 01
Listen
We meet, usually at your premises. I learn how you quote, sell, fit and get paid today.
- 02
Design
I draw up a setup for your business and explain every part of it in plain English.
- 03
Install
I handle the applications, the switch and the kit, and make sure your team are comfortable using it.
- 04
Look after
You have my mobile number. If something needs sorting with a provider or bank, I chase it.
Client stories
What it is like to work with Simon.
Simon has always given us a speedy, professional and friendly service and always has time to talk.
After our initial worry about switching providers, Simon held our hand right the way through the process. It was so straightforward. Thank you!
Integrations
Payments that plug into the software you already run.
If a piece of software is central to how you sell or take orders, payment can become a step inside it. I work with existing integrations for CRMs, accounting systems, booking systems, EPOS software, hotel management software and ecommerce platforms, so nobody has to key the same sale in twice.
-
Accounting systems
Payment received then invoice marked as paid
-
CRM
Quote accepted then payment link sent
-
Booking systems
Booking made then deposit taken
-
EPOS software
Order rung up then amount sent to the card machine
-
Hotel management
Reservation made then card held securely
-
Ecommerce platforms
Basket checked out then paid and order raised
Use something that is not listed? If it is integral to your sales or order process and you want payments automated into it, tell me what you run and I will make it happen.
